Live Acoustic performers can greatly improve the atmosphere and ambience in your hotel through musical sensory. The live element to the music gives patrons a visual element to their experience, ‘a performance’, while the right style of music can create anything from an enjoyable foot tapping experience to a full dance and sing-a-long! Live acoustic performers can appeal to a broad market.


Dates & days: Friday, Saturday or Sunday
Start Time: Late afternoon to early evening
Finish Time: 3-4hous from your start time.
  • PA System
  • Good visual space for the performers to setup
  • Ample seating in the area with easy visual for patrons
  • Central space for performers to set up with a good visual for patrons
  • Adequate seating for patrons
  • Management will need to prepare PA system for performers on arrival. This should not be done in peak times to limit disruption to patrons. Also, having the setup on display early can encourage extended patronage and interest.
  • Performers will need to be given a detailed brief on the style of music required to suit your target market and a detailed brief on the type of atmosphere you are trying to create. This can affect many elements to the music from style to sound levels and the number of performer breaks.
  • Performers will commence their set on time and play through until their set completion. The manager on duty at this time will need to be prepared with the correct back up music through nightlife for after the performance to maintain the atmosphere created. The ‘break’  music set through nightlife system is also important so as not to dampen the atmosphere when the performers take their breaks.

  • Understanding your patrons and the style of music they like will assist in creating a detailed brief for performers
  • Continuous monitoring of the atmosphere in the room throughout the performance will assist in creating the best possible experience for your patrons. Subtle sound level changes, lighting changes and playlist changes can make the world of difference
  • Alternating performers will enable patrons to build a rapport with performers whilst keeping a fresh playlist and sound
  • Be careful not to have your live performers set up in an area which could be detrimental to your gaming or TAB areas
  • Arranging local performers can assist with networking and promoting of the offer
  • Ensure your performers a ‘plugging’ at least one of your hotel promotions throughout their set
