EOFY FUNCTIONS 2013

OVERVIEW OF THE PROMOTION:

End of Financial Year falls on Friday 28th of June in 2013. This provides an opportunity to connect with your local businesses who will be rounding our a traditionally busy time of year and looking to reward their employees through way of either casual drinks or a more formal corporate event.

Ensuring that your EOFY promotional activity is advertised ahead of the game includes irresistible early bird offers that entice clients to book now, will ensure you have the best chance to get the most return out of the EOFY functions season.

Understanding the booking motives of your corporate market will ensure that you select the right promotional offers to suit their needs. Understanding whether they driven by a lean budget, value for money, or inexperience with event planning and want your venue to look after all details should lead you to the most appropriate offer for your venue.

This is best suited to venues who have specialised function areas. You may wish to consider the following incentives:

Book your EOFY function by the end of May to receive:

  • An extra free half/full hour on your beverage package
  • 10% of your catering bill
  • Free room hire
  • Free karaoke / DJ for your event
  • Free theming/decorations (to an agreed value)
  • Complimentary shuttle bus from the office
  • Wait staff at no additional cost
  • Free professional photographer
  • Free bottle of champagne for the function client

Please keep in mind that selecting one strong incentive appropriate to your corporate function client will have more potency that a string of smaller incentives.

COST TO A&M: This will depend on your selected activity. All associated costs should be allocated to you’re A&M account.

CELEBRATE YOUR BOTTOM LINE WITH THE TOP SHELF:
DETAILS: This promotional offer is targeted at corporate clients who are looking to book a formal EOFY function with a beverage package option.

The details are as follows:

Clients who book their EOFY function receive an automatic upgrade to a more premium beverage package; Bronze Packages upgrade to Silver, Silver Upgrade to Gold, Gold packages upgrade to next level of spirits available.

COST TO A&M: Dependent on the beverage consumption of the function. If the client uses the total allocated amount of the beverage package, additional beverages will be allocated to A&M bar promo account.

EOFY SMALL BUSINESS OFFER:
DETAILS: Those venues with a large portion of smaller businesses in the surrounding areas may wish to offer these local businesses a complimentary after work package.

The idea is to both generate additional patronage to your hotel and build relationships with your local businesses. This may also be suitable for venues whose surrounding offices do not want to plan an official function.

Consider offering:

  • Bottle of Bubbly & Mezze platter for 5 – 10 guests
  • Drink on arrival and share plate for 2 – 10 guests
  • EOFY Happy Hour (Friday 28th June only)

EOFY BANQUET PACKAGE:
DETAILS: Some employers may choose to book a dinner for their employees. Consider designing a special banquet menu.

  • Contact all previous function clients with the promotional offer. Make sure you have the collateral ready at hand to send to the contact.

  • Contact your local businesses and inform them of the promotional offer.

  • Ensure that everyone handling function enquiries is up to speed with the promotion.
