Providing an on premise incentive to your bottle shop customers is designed to encourage:

• Conversion from a bottle shop patron to a hotel patron as well.

In this case, the incentive is a free schooner of VB draught beer with every case of VB purchased, which can be redeemed in any of the hotel’s bars.

Please note that this promotion has been allocated to the following venues who are not required to submit an ROI. If you have not been allocated this activity but feel it is appropriate for your venue’s weekly promotions schedule, please submit a proposal with all information as requested below.

Promotion Description: Free schooner of VB with every purchase of a case of VB rom the hotel’s bottle shop.

Availability: During trading hours.

Promotional Period: The promotion is to start on 7th April and run for 3 months with a review at 3 months.

How to run the promotion:

• Every time a customer purchases a case of VB they are given a voucher for a schooner of VB which can be redeemed at one of the hotel’s bar.
• When a customer redeems the voucher in the hotel, staff are to ring the schooner up to a “FREE VB CROSS” button which will be set up on your till by Helpdesk. The voucher is then to be placed in the till.
• The free schooner will be rung through at a $0 price, and the stock will be decremented from your normal VB Draught PLU.
• All participating venues will receive 1 x VB draught keg to ensure GP is maintained.
  
• The number of redeemed vouchers is to be recorded in the daily DTS report.

• POS for the bottle shop – maximum $200
• 500 Vouchers - $200

Marketing initiatives should include the following:

• In house POS (Bottle shop only)
• Staff Viral (Bottle shop staff only)
• Website (Bottle shop page only, where applicable)

Allocated venues are not required to submit a proposal. If you are not an allocated venue, the following information will be required in your proposal:

• Target number of weekly voucher redemptions
• POS requirements (including posters & vouchers)

USEFUL TIPS:

• Make sure that bottle shop staff are really driving this promotion, by talking about the promotion with customers.
  
  
• Ensure you have a POS frame outlining the promotion, adjacent to where your cases of VB are stored within the shop.
  
  
• Avoid promoting this activity through any on-premise channels. The objective is to target off-premise customers only.
