The following are the suggested mechanics of the promotion. If you wish to alter these to suit your venue, please outline your suggested changes in your promo proposal brief.

Gift Voucher Giveaways are design to increase traffic in your gaming room by encouraging repeat and extended business from your current gaming patrons. It is also designed to increase your current customer base with new patrons. These promotions can also improve staff interaction and activity in your room which will ultimately increase turnover.

The promotion should be run during your quieter periods when you may have the opportunity to extend or increase your patronage. Gift Vouchers Giveaways can be run continuously over a period of time or limited to a 2hour time frame.

You will need to determine what you are trying to achieve with the promotion to determine what is the best day and time to run this promotion in your room.

Eligibility

Eligibility is open to all patrons who are eligible to play gaming machines within the venue with the exception of REDCAPE Staff and their family and friends.

Entry

One entry ticket is issued to an eligible player for every win of $10 or more on the credit win meter of the gaming machine.  A maximum of one ticket is issued per win except during double entry period.  You may wish to increase the ‘Win amount’ to $20 to encourage larger players into your gaming room however you should consider the benefit in a promotion that also encourages your regular small players.

Double ticket periods can be set (for example; the promotion may run between 12 - 2pm, however your double ticket period exists only between 1pm and 2pm). A Double ticket period is where the player receives 2 entry tickets for every $10 win. Tickets are to remain in the draw barrel for the duration of the promotion.  Winning tickets will not be placed back into the barrel.  They will be kept for verification purposes.

** Please note that the ticket entry is for games registered on the ‘WIN METER’ - this is not for a payout out or similar. The $ value must be a Win (i.e a $10 win) on the ‘Win Meter’.

Draw

The Draw will need to occur as specified in your promotion terms and conditions. For Example: Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 1pm and 2pm. Or on the last Friday of the month.

Please note: Draw times will need to reflect your weekly promotional budget. Please speak to Emma Herbert regarding your weekly budget and preferred promotional running times/days.

Conditions

The prize cannot be exchanged for cash
Minors under the age of 18 cannot participate
All personal information gathered will only be used for the purpose of the promotion and will be destroyed after the draw date.
No responsibility accepted for the loss of entry tickets or for any liability arising from taking of prizes.
The customer must be present to WIN. If the customer is not present at the time of the draw, you redraw after 4 minutes. You must continue to draw until a winner is present.

For further details regarding an individual promotion please contact the hotel manager. Management’s decision is final.  All decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Suggested marketing initiatives are outlined below. Not all will be appropriate to your venue, however please suggest as many options as you feel appropriate in you promotion proposal.

  • Staff & Management up sell and interaction with players
  • Please unsure your staff understand the promotion and how to deliver this to players
  • Ensure staff are on the floor at all times, unless getting change, doing a payout or drink service
  • Explain clearly that the promotion is run of a $10 (or specified value) win on the ‘win meter’ and not on a payout. This is a turnover based promotion and therefore must be run off the win meter
  • Clearly communicate your ‘double ticket periods’ to staff and players and ensure are issuing double tickets during these periods
  • Encourage customer interaction with staff. Staff should know all players by first name.
  • Ensure staff are writing promotional entry tickets for players and DO NOT give customers the forms to fill out themselves.
  • Ensure staff are writing down both their full names and contact numbers on the promotional entry tickets
  • Keep the name and number of the play in the ticket book. When the player leaves, only then fold and enter the ticket into the barrel.
  • Ensure all artwork is displayed prominently with your TPL number showing. This should include A5 machine talkers.
