The following are the suggested mechanics of the promotion. If you wish to alter these to suit your venue, please outline your suggested changes in your promo proposal brief.

  • All target markets

An amendment of our everyday promoted 241 meals, creating redeemable vouchers will be just as potent and assist in bringing up the overall GP of the venue and create an action for the customer instead of a brand message.

Dates & days: To run at ALL times
Start Time: All times
Finish Time: All times
  • 2 4 1 vouchers

as per normal

  • Customer purchases a meal at our bistro, staff then gives customer a 2 for 1 voucher for every meal they buy, even if it’s on special, which can be redeemed within a certain time (tomorrows date for 4 weeks) – this needs to be promoted on the voucher.
  • Normal 241 conditions apply re 2nd meal must be same or lesser value of the first meal with some venues possibly only having a reduced menu
  • Managers are to sign and validate vouchers personally
  • PLEASE NOTE – if you are a 241 venue moving across to this – give it AT LEAST 4 weeks to be introduced – ie still run 241 for everyone for the 4 weeks but also give out vouchers to slowly make customers aware
  • Staff up sell
  • Word of Mouth
  • Hand out additional Vouchers to key people external to venue to entice them in
  • Home of the 241 Voucher, Posters
  • 241 is STILL available – this is a key message to all staff and how this promotion works
  • We want to give as many of the vouchers away as possible – don’t be restrictive if not required. We don’t collect or count them etc
  • We can use these for other initiatives to get people through the door as a call to actions– ie a non sponsored team juice up, corporate groups, members drive, mail outs etc (speak with GMM and AM beforehand)
  • This will also allow venues to run traditional special nights in conjunction with the 241 vocuhers
