OVERVIEW OF THE PROMOTION:

International Rugby will this year be split into two game groups to work around the Olympic Games. June Game and then returning end of August for the remainder of the International Rugby Season. With all June Games being Australian based, you will see great opportunity to capture you local rugby market at peak trade times.

You will also need to look at drawing the ticket package on the weekend prior (Saturday 9th June) to ensure you have enough lead time to arrange tickets, accommodation and travel arrangements.

COST TO A&M: Tickets $100 – additional costs associated for regional venues with travel arrangements. Please include all costs in your A&M Proposal

STEAK & SCHOONER DEAL:
DETAILS: A discount Steak and Schooner of Hahn Super Dry deal will encourage bistro trade before and during the game period.

Please note that this offer will only be available during the dinner period of the first three games and Lunch time for the 4th and final game and will only be available in conjunction with a Hahn Super Dry Schooner.

Please note: You will be required to submit your promotional price point (for example $12 Steak & Schooner) in your A&M proposal. Please carefully consider you price point offering as the difference to your regular price point for a Steak and Schooner will be allocated to your Promo Food Account.

Please remember to select ‘notify the food channel’ on your A&M proposal if you are selecting this option.

COST TO A&M: Dependent on your price point, the difference to your regular price point will be your cost to A&M. Please include the individual cost and your estimated total cost for the promotional period.

THEMING:
DETAILS: Theming your bar will assist in generating interest and atmosphere in the lead up to Wallabies Games. Please note that theming should be put up in the week prior to the first game and should continue throughout the promotional period.

COST TO A&M: This will be dependent on your required theming. Please cost out all items to determine your total spend and include this in your A&M proposal.

HAHN SUPER DRY JUGS:
DETAILS: Price point discount on a Hahn Super Dry jug during game times will assist in driving bar revenue throughout your games. This is a particularly potent promotion to align with your Trivia if you run Trivia on the Tuesday night game.

Please consider how you will run the game in conjuction with Trivia when submitting your A&M proposal.

Please also remember to include your suggest Super Dry Jug price point in your A&M proposal. Hahn assistance will be sourced post games to assist in maintaining GP should you wish to run this promotion.

REQUIRED IN YOUR A&M PROPOSAL:
  • Each individual activity your wish to run including the day you will be running this, times and cost to A&M. You will also be able to provide any additional comments around the activity in the A&M Proposal sheet.
  • Any existing daily What’s ON activity should also be included in your A&M Proposal as ‘proposed activity’. Simply note that this is existing activity and there is no additional cost to A&M
  • Proposed Marketing Activity
  • Any additional activity you may wish to include outside of the suggested mechanics


 

USEFUL TIPS:

  • Be well planned with your Activities

  • Be well themed in line with your event activity

  • Ensure all staff and management are actively up selling the event to target market

  • Utilize all sporting sponsors, community groups, local families etc to assist with the viral marketing of activity.

  • Engage social media forums to assist with communicating your activity and creating themeing around your days activity.

  • Personally make contact with all Rugby sponsors prior to game days to generate interest and support

  • Ensure you’re a&M Proposals is submitted on time and you follow up on your POS request to ensure delivery by your scheduled date.
